More Music

Remember how I said that my favorite way to set a mood is with music?  Here's one I wouldn't want to give up:

The Harrow Family's God Our Provider album.

The songs are scripture verses set to music, and they all are sung by four young siblings with beautiful voices.  The music is tasteful - not kidsy.  It is very pleasant to listen to, and while we listen, we are tucking scripture away in our minds.  The words in 8 out of 16 songs are from the King James Version, such as Romans 8:1, Matthew 6:9-13, and Isaiah 40:31.

The boys listen to this CD often at bedtime, but sometimes I play it during the day just because I like it.  One of their favorites is "Commit your work to the Lord..." (Proverbs 16:3)

From what I gather from their website, the family has seven albums.  I only own God Our Provider, but one day I am going to try some of their other albums.  (Is this subtle enough for a gift idea?)
